CONOR WALTON

Conor Walton, born 1970, is a contemporary Irish figurative painter. He graduated from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin and went on to earn his MA in Art History and Theory at the University of Essex. Taking the opportunity to add to his education, he traveled to Florence, Italy to study old master techniques. His career spans twenty-two years and his work is recognized internationally. A highly prolific painter, his artwork encompasses still life, portraiture, landscape, and figurative painting. In addition to winning a number of prestigious awards, he has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions. Conor’s commissioned portraits can be found in many public and private collections, and his work has featured on book covers and postage stamps in Ireland and abroad.
